One Mistake Can Cost You Months — or Your Entire Application

You've worked hard to get your ITA. But the 60-day deadline creates pressure, and IRCC doesn't give second chances on avoidable errors.

1
Wrong document format or missing pages — IRCC may refuse your application without asking for corrections. One missing page from a police certificate can trigger a full refusal.
2
Work experience descriptions that don't match NOC codes — If your job duties don't align with IRCC's classification, your points can be recalculated and your application refused.
3
Incomplete or inconsistent personal history — Gaps in your address history, employment timeline, or travel record can trigger additional review or a procedural fairness letter.
4
Incorrect form fields or outdated forms — IRCC updates their forms regularly. Using an old version or entering data in the wrong field can cause processing delays or outright rejection.

Many Express Entry applicants receive refusals for completely avoidable documentation mistakes — errors that a professional review would have caught before submission.

The Three Express Entry Programs

Express Entry manages applications for three federal economic immigration programs. Understanding which program(s) you're eligible for is the first step in your journey.

FSW
Federal Skilled Worker Program

For skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. You need at least one year of continuous full-time skilled work experience, meet language requirements, and score enough points under the selection factors.

CEC
Canadian Experience Class

For skilled workers who already have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents. You need at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada within the past three years, along with meeting language requirements.

FSTP
Federal Skilled Trades Program

For skilled tradespeople who want to become permanent residents based on their qualifications in a skilled trade. You need at least two years of full-time work experience in a qualifying trade and a valid job offer or certificate of qualification in Canada.

Not Sure Which Program You Qualify For?

Many candidates are eligible for more than one program. We'll assess your profile, determine which program(s) give you the strongest chance, and help you optimize your Express Entry strategy.

Common Questions

What's the difference between Guided Review and Full Representation? +
With Guided Application Review, you prepare and submit your own application — we guide you, review your documents, and audit everything before you submit. With Full Care Representation, we handle everything for you from start to finish. The discovery call helps you decide which is right for your situation.
I already received my ITA. Is there still time? +
Yes — most clients come to us right after receiving their ITA. You have 60 days to submit, and our Guided Review process is designed to work within that timeline. The sooner you start, the more time we have to ensure everything is perfect.
What if my case is more complex (refusal, inadmissibility)? +
If your situation involves a previous refusal, inadmissibility, or misrepresentation concerns, you may need our Full Care Representation or a paid 45-minute consultation. We'll determine the best path on your free discovery call.
Who reviews my application? +
Your application is reviewed by a team that includes a licensed lawyer (Law Society of Ontario) and a licensed immigration consultant (CICC).
Can I upgrade to Full Representation later? +
Yes. If you start with Guided Application Review and decide you'd prefer full representation before your application is submitted, we'll credit the full amount you already paid toward the Full Care fee.
What does the free 15-minute call cover? +
We'll review your situation, confirm whether Guided Application Review is the right fit, and provide a clear fixed quote. There's no pressure and no obligation — it's simply a conversation to see if we can help.
